The 510 Series and 600 Series controls are manually operated, rotary encoders used for relative and absolute reference applications.
The 510 Series provides a two-bit gray code for relative reference and a four-bit gray code for absolute electrical reference, while the 600 Series outputs two square waves in quadrature at a rate of 128 pulses per channel per revolution.
Both series have various options for gray code, mounting direction, and termination.
